Developing a pricing strategy — the topic of the Accelerator participants’ meeting

On May 13, another meeting of the Skynet Foundation’s Innovation Accelerator took place, led by Krzysztof Łątka. The topic of the meeting was developing a pricing strategy and finding a balance between cost analysis and the psychology of customer purchasing decisions.

During the meeting, key aspects of an effective pricing policy were discussed, based on three pillars: costs, competitive analysis, and the value delivered to the customer. The facilitator noted that a product’s price does not function in isolation from other elements of market strategy, such as the product itself, the target audience, distribution, or promotion.

Participants learned about the most important pricing models, including Cost-Based Pricing, Competition-Based Pricing, Premium Pricing, and Value-Based Pricing. Particular attention was paid to the importance of uniqueness and expert experience in building the value of a product or service.

The meeting also provided an opportunity to discuss how the selection of an appropriate pricing strategy should align with the product’s development stage and the organization’s business objectives.

In conclusion, Krzysztof Łątka invited Accelerator participants to join the Profiplatform project—an initiative aimed at developing a community of experts and fostering collaboration in the areas of innovation and business.
