Skynet Foundation at the Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit 2026

Technology is evolving at breakneck speed, making it essential for our Foundation to stay at the cutting edge. That’s why on June 10-11, a Skynet Foundation representative traveled to Warsaw for one of Europe’s largest IT events: the Perspektywy Women in Tech 2026 Summit. Despite its name, the event was far more than a discussion about women in technology — it was a massive, inclusive platform exploring global trends across the entire STEM and IT landscape. Our goal was simple: to experience these innovations firsthand, absorb the incredible energy of the summit, and show that the Skynet Foundation is actively engaged. We are here to support modern initiatives, create high-quality content for our community, and embrace new ideas.

One of the most inspiring moments of the summit was meeting its creator, Bianka Siwińska, CEO of the Perspektywy Education Foundation. Her manifesto — stating that "Energy is the essence of life. It allows us to grow, to collaborate, to create technology" — set the tone for the entire event. Her call to "Unleash New Energy" is more than just a slogan; it’s a challenge to rethink how we power our world and drive our own initiatives forward. For our Foundation, it was a truly invaluable experience to connect with a visionary who brings together thousands of talented minds.

The scale of this year's summit was staggering, bringing together thousands of attendees and hundreds of industry-leading companies and speakers. The conversation shifted noticeably from basic IT solutions toward "Deep Tech." Panel discussions dove into the technologies that will define our future, including next-generation energy (from Green Hydrogen to Nuclear Fusion and SMRs), quantum computing, IoT, advanced semiconductors, and autonomous engineering systems. For the Skynet Foundation, hearing these insights live was crucial for anticipating global market shifts and developing projects that truly matter.

The exhibition and hands-on zones were just as striking. We were particularly drawn to the booths of aerospace and engineering giants like GE Aerospace and Honeywell. Seeing actual aircraft engines, such as the CT7-9B turboprop, alongside models of next-gen aircraft gave us a profound appreciation for the sheer scale of modern engineering.

But we didn’t just watch from the sidelines. One of the summit's highlights was jumping into Honeywell’s hands-on "Sky is not the limit: Drones workshop." This session was a deep dive into the future of aviation and machine learning. Working in teams, we explored unmanned technologies and tackled real-world engineering challenges alongside industry experts.

Beyond advanced engineering, the expo showcased the highly creative side of tech. We met the interactive humanoid robot Perspekto and marveled at a dress by Equinix woven entirely from 3,600 meters of fiber-optic cable — a stunning physical embodiment of the internet. Our trip to Warsaw proved once again that the world of innovation is open to those ready to learn, adapt, and take action. The Skynet Foundation returns with renewed energy, powerful new connections, and a clear vision for integrating global best practices into our work. Stay tuned for updates on our website so you don't miss our upcoming projects. Let's build the future together!
